On the morning of November 10, Mr. Ed Wujcik arrived at Sip N Dip for his usual morning coffee. Moments after sitting down near several Warren DPW workers who were on break, he suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest.
The DPW workers immediately initiated CPR and notified dispatch via direct line, allowing Rescue and Engine 5 to be sent to the scene without delay.

Last evening, our Firefighters took advantage of a soon to be demolished structure to do some realistic training on search, hose stretching, breaching and vertical ventilation.
The fire scene becomes quite the symphony, the engine crew arrives and immediately forms a plan to put hoses in place to get water on the fire. The ladder company sets up shop to “stick the roof” to preform vertical ventilation ... (Full Story & Photos)

Last night , our members trained on vehicle extrication. Crews worked together to stabilize, and disentangle these two vehicles that were set up as a realistic scenario.
Simiulating that there were 2 front seat occupants, members worked to cut away the silver car with the “Jaws of Life”, going over techniques of popping doors, cutting hinges, breaking glass, eventually rolling the roof back onto itself. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Members of our Department and the Warren Police Department had a memorial wreath laying ceremony this morning at the Town Wharf.

This occurred at 08:46 am , 24 years to the minute have passed since American Airlines Flight 11 struck the World Trade Center’s north tower. Resulting in a massive emergency response, and murdering thousands of responders and innocent civilians.

Firefighter O'Brien and the members of his fire department responded to a fire in an apartment building. Firefighters found a fire in the kitchen of a third floor apartment.
