The annual Firefighters’ Memorial Parade will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Fire Headquarters, proceed west on Croade Street, continue north on Main Street, turn left onto Water Street and head south, ending on State Street at the Town Common for a brief ceremony. Department Wide Training

On April 26, 2026, department members gathered for the annual "Back to Basics" drill. Each company focused on essential training topics: Engine 1 reviewed fire alarms and control panels. Engine 2 practiced handling hoses, nozzles, and hose deployment. Engine 3 worked with SCBAs, rapid intervention team packs, and thermal cameras. Firefighter Crystal Arel, a member of Rough and Ready Engine Company 5, received the 2026 Women Warrior Award from Military Women Across the Nation, 118th Chapter representing Rhode Island. This award was presented to her at an awards luncheon at the Quonset Officer's Club on March 26, 2026.

On the morning of November 10, Mr. Ed Wujcik arrived at Sip N Dip for his usual morning coffee. Moments after sitting down near several Warren DPW workers who were on break, he suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest.
