Firefighters’ Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony!

Sunday is our Firefighters’ Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony! Our rank and file will be assembling at Fire Headquarters this Sunday at 11:00am to step off our annual parade. The parade will proceed up Croade St, right onto Main St (northbound), proceed to take a left onto Water St. in front of Patriot Liquors, proceed south until turning left onto State St. where a wreath laying ceremony will commence ... Smell of Smoke in the building

9 OCT 2024- At approximately 18:15 hrs, Engines 1, 2 and Tower Ladder 1 were dispatched for a local alarm sounding with the smell of smoke in the building. Car 1 arrived less than a minute later and stated he had a smoke condition on the first floor. Companies quickly arrived and extinguished the small rubbish fire without causing any major damage.... Kitchen Fire in Basement with a Trapped Victim

6 OCT 2024- At around 1400hrs, crews were dispatched to this home for a kitchen fire in the basement with a trapped victim.
Lt Freitas of Tower Ladder 1, who is a nextdoor neighbor, and off-duty Police Officer R. Feeney from East Providence Police quickly sprang into action and entered the basement to help the occupants escape to safety. They also contained the fire with a faucet sprayer from a kitchen ...
